GreenWC app for iPhone and iPad

When you gotta go, you gotta go. Theres no stopping natures call. But if youre working in an office and sharing a bathroom, timing is everything. The frustration of getting to the door, only to have it occupied, can be a big waste of time.

There are two individual bathrooms at GreenWeb, one male, one female, but no direct lines of sight to their doors. we hacked our way around the problem with a digital solution using a TI Sensortag light sensor and this application receiving advertised data by the light sensor showing which bathroom is vacant.

Its a Super Simple application and something we did for fun, but its definitely improving people’s lives meaningfully. we call it GreenWC.
